These are just some of the issues women have voiced to me throughout the 108 Dialogue in the Desert Strategic Thinking, Planning & Leadership Workshops I've conducted. I've heard them talk about how they need to regain their authenticity and purpose, both at work and outside work. About how they struggle with pressure to be everything to everyone. About their need for greater balance and respect. About their need to renew themselves and rediscover their life's passion.
Because the issues women face are decidedly different from the issues men face, we are inaugurating "Leading From Within," a specially focused Dialogue Workshop for women only.
The purpose of the Workshop is to help women rediscover their authenticity, their voice, and their purpose. But don't get the wrong idea. This isn't one of those new age touchy feely workshops. For 25 years Dialogue has been known for delivering powerful, practical, real-world tools and the opportunity to practice those tools. Leading From Within will be no less. You'll work hard and long. You'll take in and sort out. You'll open new doors and close others.
You'll learn advanced tools for thinking and planning your direction. And you'll also learn from other amazing women who have gone through mental, physical, spiritual and emotional transitions. You'll learn from horses (seriously). You'll learn from the oh so pure silence of the desert.
An added bonus is that almost every one of the presenters will be participating in the workshop the entire week, so they will be both presenters and participants. Imagine the learning and engagement opportunity that presents!
The focus of this workshop is to help women rediscover their authenticity, their voice, and their purpose. In doing that, this workshop presents you with a rare opportunity to take a week away from your work and your day-to-day life and focus on YOU: your direction, your situation, your opportunities, your roadblocks, your dreams. You'll return renewed, with a clear sense of direction and a roadmap to get you there. Your work will be better, your organization will be better, your life can be better because you will be better. If you’ve gone to Dialogue in the past, I invite you to return.
1. The Workshop will be focused on your individual agenda, needs and situation.
2. You will leave with a concrete, step-by-step plan of action to move forward when you return.
3. There will be guest presenters who have succeeded in making a transition, overcoming an obstacle, moving their agenda forward.
4. There will be formal and informal sharing, discussion and exchange of ideas. Plus more of Dialogue’s famous Invent-O-Matics on your issues!
5. You’ll leave with solid tools for dealing with your transitional issues... and we will follow up with you throughout the year!
