What's In It For You?

Leadership...New Tools...Confidence... Strategic Awareness...

The Master Class is focused on helping you be more strategic in everything you do and how you do it.

1. A Refresher With the Existing Tools.
You’ll get a refresher and a deeper understanding of the tools from your initial Dialogue Workshop and more practice on how to use them. You’ll learn how others have used the tools and share what your experience with the tools has been, as well.

2. You’ll Learn How to Use Our Exclusive and Enhanced MindMap to Address Your Issues.
In the Master Class, you’ll work YOUR issues—the ones facing your organization/your work and the ones facing your career. You’ll build a strategic plan for both, so you’ll leave with a tangible direction and actions to get there. No other workshop gives you this focused and tailored attention. The MindMap goes beyond the original StrategyMap you learned in your initial Workshop.

I’ll show you how to use the MindMap to focus on specific issues facing you and your organization. You’ll learn how to employ it to tackle just about any kind of issue, whether internal or external in your company. It alone is one valuble take-way that will last long after the Workshop is over!

3. Invent-O-Matics and Sharing of Ideas, Experiences.
We’ll do more of our famous Invent-O-Matic group brainstorming on the issues you are facing, plus I’ll share with you some new approaches for shared learnings. Everyone is a teacher in the Master Class and there will be more time devoted to individual and group “think” than there was in your original Workshop.

4. Rethink The Really Tough Issues You Face!
At the start of the week, you’ll identify the tough issues you are facing. Once your issues are identified, you’ll work individually and in teams to focus on how to transform them. I’ll introduce you to new ways of thinking about these issues and you’ll leave with not only ideas, but with a solid direction for how to go about moving them from negative to positive.

5. Tools for Being an Internal Consultant in Your Organization.
One of the key issues everyone faces is how to be taken seriously by management. How do you earn that seat at the table–and then what do you do once you have it? How do you come across credibly — the same way an outside consultant does?

In the Master’s Workshop I’ll share with you everything I know about how to be an effective consultant to management. I’ll give you elegant tools for presenting, negotiating, influencing and persuading others. And you’ll have an opportunity to practice those tools with your fellow participants. I’ll show you a dynamic process for how to deal with conflict and resistance from others and you’ll have the opportunity to actually practice this during the Workshop!

6. LifeMapping: Enhanced Professional and Personal Development.
The Master Class will also give you tools for examining and planning your own professional and personal development. We’ll focus on bringing the best of who you are to what you do and the best of what you do to who you are. We’ll take an expanded walk in the desert one morning and I’ll introduce you to our elegant LifeMap, a great all-inclusive tool to chart your career aspirations. You’ll leave renewed, with a stronger sense of your own direction, the opportunities before you, and the initiatives you need to take to make it happen. You’ll have time to renew, reflect, write about and share the experiences that have marked your career to date, as well as the direction that you are now moving closer toward.

7. Expanded “Horse Sense.”
We’ll do additional round pen work as we’ll learn more about how to condition others through our own body language and through being more aware of how we’re coming across to others. This alone can be the most important lesson of the week.

1. Innovative ways to transform your work.
2. New approaches to lingering issues.
3. How to be seen by management as a credible consultant.
4. Tools for presention, persuading, influencing and dealing with conflict.
5. Professional and personal career development.
6. Individual consultation on your issues from Joe Williams.
7. Meeting and learning from new colleagues and networking with some of the best in the business!
8. Plus, learning from the best environment of all: the Sonoran Desert of Southern Arizona!
