Dialogue Indiana

A Strategic Thinking, Planning & Leadership Workshop
for Nonprofit Organizations

Join us for our third annual Workshop for Nonprofits, December 2-4, 2009, outside Bloomington, IN.

It’s Not the Conditions – It’s the Decisions:
Strategic Thinking & Planning Like You’ve Never Done It Before

On December 2-4, 2009, some 20 nonprofit professionals will break away to the Waycross Conference Center for Dialogue Indiana – two days of learning and practicing powerful tools that can transform their work and their organizations.

Nonprofits everywhere are facing changes and tighter budgets. Dialogue Indiana offers you essential thinking, planning, and leadership tools to help you lead with focus and confidence through uncharted territory. None of us can predict what will happen next month or next year. But we can arm ourselves with solid thinking and decision-making tools so that we respond from a place of thought, rather than knee-jerk reaction, with confidence, rather than apprehension, and with opportunity, rather than helplessness.

Two years ago we inaugurated the first Dialogue Indiana workshop for Bloomington-area nonprofit organizations. It received rave reviews and prompted us to build on it - now we're in our third year! The program is open to all nonprofits within or outside Indiana.

Joe Williams will again lead the 2009 session. This year, Joe will introduce you to the MindMap, a tool that lets you take a 360-degree view of a single issue and arrive at a strategic plan of action. Bring an issue, dilemma, or opportunity facing you and/or your organization, and, using the MindMap, you’ll plot out a course of action.

No other workshop offers this much focused attention to your specific issues. You’ll leave with a tangible and practical way of thinking, planning and executing an issue that can be taken back and applied to your entire organization.

Imagine the possibilities. Imagine the return on investment this Workshop can bring to your organization – and to your own professional development. Won’t you join us for two days of growing and learning?

The Logistics
The workshop is held at the Waycross Conference Center near Morgantown, a 30-minute drive from Bloomington and a great setting for our two days of focused work. The Workshop begins at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2 with an opening get-together, followed by dinner and an evening session. The workshop ends mid-afternoon on Friday, December 4.
